Book Editing is done & Cover is in Progress
I’m happy to say that i got a rough draft for my first book a few days ago. After reading it i was happy overall with the work but it did need a lot of editing, i even had to re write an entire chapter myself. I asked for certain changes to be made and the freelancer tried but the changes weren’t up to my standards. It ended up being faster to just do it myself. There were also certain areas where you could tell English wasnt the freelancers first language but those situations were easy to correct.
Overall im happy with the experience and i’ve already put in an order to have my kindle cover created. Once that is complete i’ll go to Fiverr to have the formatting done and lastly i should be able to get my book on kindle 🙂 The green items below are what i’ve accomplished and the black are what i still need to do. Were getting close to the finish line now
- Write outline for book
- Place ad on freelancing site and screen authors
- Pick author that impresses me
- give author my books outline
- once book is turned in read it and edit as needed
- Order book cover for kindle
- have book formatted for kindle
- Place book on Kindle
